MacLeod Lorway Financial Group Ltd. is an independent insurance brokerage operating in eight Nova Scotia communities under seven different registered trade names. The company is 100% owned by ten employees, none of whom are in debt to any insurance company.

The company is incorporated under the laws of Nova Scotia and is licensed to sell insurance in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The company and its divisions are all members of the Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia. The company and all of its divisions are licensed under the Consumer Protection Act.

Sixty-six of our seventy-one employees are licensed as general insurance brokers and five are licensed to sell life insurance by the Province of Nova Scotia. Twenty-two of our employees hold professional designations granted by recognized insurance associations.

All of our employees are salaried and we do not have any commission only sales persons. The bulk of our personal and commercial business is placed with five of the twelve largest insurers operating in Canada. We also place business with numerous specialty markets in both personal and commercial.

MacLeod Lorway Financial Group Ltd. and all of its division have no financial ties to any insurance company and are not obliged for any reason to place business with any individual insurer and only place business with an insurer with the best interest of its clients in mind.
